Contests: mtvU's Student Voice Contest

Student Voice Contest

Recently mtvU and Billboard Magazine scoured the country for music-obsessed students with the passion to represent their generation in print. Each finalist wins a free, one-year subscription to Billboard. Every month, they'll compete to get their essay published in the magazine. But only one will have the chops to get selected as guest writer for Billboard's Student Eye column. The winning essay from round one will be in the July 15th issue of Billboard. Meet our five writers below--and let us know whose work you'd like to read!
