This fall, we're partnering with Windows Live Messenger's "i'm initiative" to create a new series about real student activists, the causes they are passionate about, and how they make a difference. In every epsiode, we'll profile pioneering student leaders. We'll highlight the ways they're connecting with their peers, championing their causes, harnessing the power of digital tools, and making a difference.

If you (or a friend) are involved in a cause and want to share your story, we want to hear from you. And don't be discouraged by the odds. We'll feature many more of the stories online, on think.mtv.com and im.live.com. It's all about spreading the word. So send an e-mail to activists@mtvu.com.
