What is the next step in your career? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I will be graduating this May and will pursuing film work through my production company. I have a number of feature scripts in development as well as pushing my short films into festivals. In 10 years I hope to have stable work as a director. I plan to have made, at least, my first feature, and by that point I would like to have a steady work as a director, whether it's commercials or music videos, though preferably, it would be directing features.

How would you characterize your work?
I've deliberately sought different types of stories that challenge me as a filmmaker. The Beautiful Lie is a relationship drama with thriller elements, while my newest film, Making the Team, is a raunchy comedy. Stylistically however, my films have similar visual elements, but I like to allow the visual structure and them to develop organically rather than me trying to impose a particular style on it. I see the world visually and I take the time to do it right. I love the process of working with actors, the relationship that I have with them and they have with me, and love to just watch them do what they do. I get stronger as a director with each project I work on, so I try to work often, on various projects, cause I never feel more in my element than when I'm on a film set.
